Accusing Pakistan for converting Kashmir into a vortex of violence, the ardent protestors carrying National flags raised pro-India and anti-Pak slogans. The activists amidst the heated exchanges had scuffle with the security personnel following which the heavily armed cops aggressively pounced upon the leaders, manhandled them and arrested and detained them in the Chanakyapuri Police Station. The activists after the release assembled at Tara Mandal Chanakyapuri where the Panthers leaders continued their protest and addressed the gathering. Similar protests were also held at Jammu, Udhampur, Samba and Kathua.

hc-1Addressing the gathering on the occasion at Tara Mandal, New Delhi, Mr. Harsh Dev Singh lambasted Pakistan for its pernicious designs in aiding and abetting militancy in Jammu and Kashmir and elsewhere in the country with utterly malevolent, baleful and ulterior motives. He castigated Pakistan for its highly malicious and mischievous designs in sponsoring militancy particularly in J&K and pushing in proselytized traitors to vitiate peace and harmony on our side of the borders. Castigating Pakistan for its terror training camps, its Hawala deals, its drug trafficking, its moral and material support to secessionism besides its highly rancorous propaganda in the print and electronic media, against India, Mr. Singh lamented that Pak’s notoriety had assumed alarming an unacceptable proportions. He said that recent statement of Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif endorsing all kinds of support to the secessionists in Kashmir besides expressing sympathies with the slain militant Burhan Wani should be an eye opener for the international community. Mr. Singh disclosed that PM of Pakistan crossed all  the limits when he recently announced to observe July 19thas ‘Black Day’ in protest against the ongoing Kashmir turbulence while addressing a cabinet meeting at Lahore’s Governor House. He said that was the reason Panthers Party chose the same day to lodge its protest against Pakistan and caution the rogue state to desist from poking its nose in Indian matters. He further divulged that Pakistan’s terror manufacturing antecedents were known the world over and the recent venomous rants of Hafiz Sayeed against India had only unveiled Pakistan being a terror exporting state. Castigating the hostile neighbour for its highly dubious deals, Mr. Singh cautioned Pakistan to break out from the mindset of improbity, deceit and belligerence that it has embarked upon and to stop meddling in the affairs of J&K. He further called for vacation of Pak aggression from the occupied territories of J&K which are very much a part of Jammu and Kashmir. He said that Union Parliament had also passed a resolution in 1994 for liberating POJK as this same fell within the domain of Indian Union. Ridiculing the BJP over its muscle flexing while in opposition, he questioned the Saffron Party that where had its jingoism and chauvinism vanished despite Pak’s brazen support to the Separatism in Kashmir. He said that JKNPP was constrained to lodge a protest as the State government has miserably failed to control the situation in Kashmir besides BJP despite its tall harangues and rhetorical overtures had abdicated its responsibility of questioning the belligerent nation over its misadventures and violent posturing.

Mr. Balwant Singh Mankotia while condemning Pakistan for inciting violence and trouble in J&K called upon the international community to take cognizance of the utter hostility and belligerence of the neighbouring country. He said that Pakistan had created dozens of terror groups in the name of ‘Jehad’ who were resorting to violence and propagating secession and separatism. He said that Jammu and Kashmir is an integral part of India and no power on earth can change this fact. Warning Pakistan to desist from its highly mischievous and hostile conduct, Mr. Mankotia said that the Union Govt. must give a blunt message to Pakistan restraining it from indulging in day dreaming on the issue of J&K. He said that the Nation was eagerly awaiting the tough posturing against Pakistani misadventures as emphatically proclaimed by Prime Minister, Mr. Narendra Modi on scores of occasions. He said that it must be clear to all that the National security is the top most priority and no compromise on the same is acceptable in any situation.

Mr. Yashpal Kundal called upon Pakistan to rein-in its paid agents in J&K and refrain from any further misadventures in the interests of peace in South Asia. He further maintained that increase in the frequency of the cease fire violations besides proxy war launched in the State of J&K by Pakistan called for stern measures against the rogue nation by taking the world community into confidence.

PM Modi fails to deliver at Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine conclave in Katra

“It was all anti-climax at the end of PM Modi’s speech at the Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine University conclave this afternoon as Prime Minister Modi failed to mention a word about the PHE daily wagers numbering about 30,000, failed to address the sufferings and miserable plight of the hills of Mata Vaishno Devi now called as ‘baridars’ and have been literally turned as beggars in their own land. These baridars and their ancestors have been looking after the shrine for centuries without any benefit or gain.

Several hundred Katra activists including their panches and sarpanches of Katra areas surrounding the university have been kept away under the threats of handcuffs by the police who have been protesting peacefully for their causes.”

This was the reaction of Prof.Bhim Singh, Chief Patron of National Panthers Party from New Delhi camp office about PM Modi’s visit to Katra and his conquest of the peasantry and the Vaishno Devi owners who have been suffering for decades and demanding justice and equity.

Prof.Bhim Singh wanted to know from Prime Minister Modi why he failed to mention the plight of the people who have been suffering at the hands of his half-a-partner with PDP in the state. Prime Minister could not mention a word about the suffering daily wagers in PHE, he could not mention a word about the miserable situation the masters of Vaishno Devi Shrine have been facing since their humiliating ouster. Prime Minister also could not address the open meeting and had to direct the security forces to prepare a security covered up hall in the Katra University  ground costing more than, as estimated, Rs.20 crores.

Prof.Bhim Singh wanted to know from Modi about the plight of the labourers working on different projects for the shrine and for the service condition of the Shrine Board employees. He wanted to know the benefit of the latest hospital to the Katra division and the poor people. He also expressed surprise that Prime Minister could not open the Stadium by travelling about 500 meters ahead from the Shrine Board camp. He said that Prime Minister pressed the switch to open to perform the inauguration of the stadium. Was it due to the security risk?

Prof.Bhim Singh expressed surprise that Prime Minister of India could not say a word to appeal the students of Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University in Rajouri which was closed a few days back because of students unrest. The Prime Minister failed to say a word giving call to the students and youth in the Valley who have been staging demonstration against the state. Prof.Bhim Singh wondered whether Prime Minister Modi had any faint idea about the situation that has developed in different areas of J&K?

Prof.Bhim Singh hoped that Prime Minister shall call an open meeting of the representative of all the recognized political parties in J&K including the representatives of the national parties functioning in J&K so that justice is done to all residents of J&K from all three regions. He said that Article 370 is a stumbling block in the way of integration of J&K with the rest of the country. He wondered why Prime Minister Modi is silent on this subject?

NPP Chief Patron demands dissolution of Assembly and fresh elections

While addressing media at Press Club Jammu this morning, Prof. Bhim Singh urged President of India to intervene into the serious crisis developed in J&K and revise the Governor of Jammu and Kashmir to dissolve the State (J&K) Assembly without any delay so that fresh elections may be held this year to elect a new government in accordance with the Constitution of Jammu and Kashmir which differs from the Constitution of India.

Prof. Bhim Singh, a Sr. Advocate and expert in the Constitutional Affairs said that the political situation in J&K is beyond any repairs and new government of the ‘hawks’ and ‘doves’ cannot be constituted only to please the power hungry and corrupt politicians responsible for corruption, militancy, lawlessness and political mess in the state.  He said that the Governor has imposed Governor Rule, though late and that demands immediate dissolution of the J&K Assembly without delay so that fresh elections may be held by the end of this year.

Prof. Bhim Singh also emphasized that the Governor should invoke special powers and introduce delimitation of the Assembly constituencies. Firstly all the reserved Assembly seats in Jammu Pradesh should be rotated without any delay, which have been kept under reservation for nearly two decades.  He also demanded that the Assembly constituencies should be delimited according to the Constitution of new districts in the state as the law does not permit an Assembly constituency to be extended to another district.

Prof. Bhim Singh said that the President of India is vested with power to amend Article 370 and he should end this draconian provision inserted in Article 370.  He demanded that Jammu and Kashmir should be reorganized by establishing twin states, Jammu State and Kashmir Ghati State by giving each state ‘state powers’ so that each state shall act of its own with full control over subjects mentioned in the State List (Schedule–VII).  Prof. Bhim Singh said that the new confederation of states may have one Governor and one High Court with the subjects in the Concurrent List may remain common. He suggested that Ladakh region, if the people there, so decide may be brought under the Union Territory (List).

Prof. Bhim Singh appealed to the people of Jammu and Kashmir to consider this aspect which is the only way to open windows of progress, development and respectable rehabilitation of the people from all the regions.

Terrorists attack in Pathankote: NPP condemned terrorists’ attack demands white paper from Modi Govt. for its failure

Prof.Bhim Singh, Chief Patron of National Panthers Party strongly condemned the terrorists’ attack on Air Force Base in Pathankote, Punjab followed by the utter failure of the Modi government to defend borders and security. Prof.Bhim Singh said that the Modi government should bring out a white paper on the entire shocking attack by half a dozen armed terrorists at Pathankote Air Force Base which is bordering the Indian state, Jammu and Kashmir.

Prof.Bhim Singh wondered on the criminal silence of the Prime Minister of India on the assault by the terrorists, identified by India as Pakistani terrorists.

The Prime Minister of India has responsibility to let the nation know what are the impressions and understandings about this attack by the Prime Minister of India who visited Pakistan last week on a hidden agenda.

Prof.Bhim Singh asked Prime Minister of India to explain how heavily armed Pakistani terrorists could manage to enter Pathankote Air Force (India) resulting into the martyrdom of three security men from Indian side. Prof.Bhim Singh is expert on Army war-fare as he was associated with Palestinian Commandoes in the Gholan Heights scuffle. Gholan Heights was attacked by Israeli commandoes in 1973 and successfully resisted by the Syrian forces assisted by the Palestinian commandoes. Prof.Bhim Singh said that there are several questions which need to be answered by the Govt. of India headed by Shri Narendra Modi;

a).     Where was the Indian Intelligence Bureau when the foreigners from Pakistan entered into Punjab (India) carrying tones of weapons with them?

b).     Where was the Indian Intelligence-experts and what were they doing?

c).      Why the communication between the defence units at the border and the defense Air Force was out of work?

d).     What follow up action was taken by India to counter the terrorists’ attack?

e).      What is the diplomatic initiative taken up by the Prime Minister Shri Modi undertaken with the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Shri Nawaz Sharief with whom Shri Modi had 80 minutes secret close door talk only last week?

Prof.Bhim Singh has demanded the immediate meeting of the National Integration Council of India to discuss the situation that has surfaced in the Indian continent endangering peace and tranquility in the region.
