Prof.Bhim Singh, Chief Patron of the party who visited Ramban, Doda and Udhampur Districts today held several meetings with the District leaders and Panthers Party activists directing them to carry the mission relief and rehabilitation for all who have suffered heavily by the devastation of floods in these areas.

Prof.Bhim Singh also advised the District RRCs (relief and rehabilitation committees) to visit each village in their respective areas and collect data regarding the losses; land, crop, cattle, houses or otherwise. He appealed the people to file individual reports before the RRCs at the earliest. Prof.Bhim Singh said that J&K government has been directed by the Supreme Court to file the action taken report by 10th October, 2014. Prof.Bhim Singh said that the Panthers Party shall also be submitting affidavits in connection with the damages and losses caused to the people during the natural calamity caused by unprecedented floods in the entire state. He said that though all the 10 districts of Jammu Pradesh have suffered heavily yet he did not find a single aid vehicle moving to any district of Jammu. He said that he has seen dozen of trucks loaded with relief materials for the flood victims rushing across Banihal tunnel which is a welcome step but people of Jammu also deserved some kind of sympathy from the Prime Minister and the aid giver.

Prof.Bhim Singh regretted that even Prime Minister of India has forgotten the name of Jammu while addressing UN General Assembly the other day. He admitted before the world body that it was only Kashmir Valley which suffered and government is helping them. Prof.Bhim Singh said that Mr. Modi has deliberately chosen to ignore Jammu or it was his ignorance. He said whatever maybe the reason people of Jammu have felt hurt on the statement of Prime Minister. He asked Mr.Modi is it Kashmir State or it is Jammu and Kashmir State?
