PM Modi trying to demolish roots of history & India’s cultural heritage

Prof.Bhim Singh, Founder of National Panthers Party and Sr. Advocate of the Supreme Court has expressed strong resentment against the policy of Prime Minister Modi to denounce, insult, disgrace and abuse the India’s leadership with malafide intention to wash away the national chapter on India’s cultural heritage that depicts the image of secular and socialist India.

Prof.Bhim Singh said that every child in India knew that Lal Bahadur Shastri was a hero of 1965 war against Pakistan. It was Lal Bahadur Shastri who demonstrated unparallel courage, vision and farsightedness by encouraging the Indian Army and defence forces in the 1965 war. It was Shastri ji who was acclaimed the hero of the 1965 war. The Panthers Party Founder wanted to know from Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi why Shastri ji name and his contribution in 1965 war have been eclipsed by the Modi government. India is not a totalitarian nor a communistic where national heroes are dumped in dustbin of history whenever there is change in the government. He said India is the largest accepted democracy in the world. India survives because its history always remains alive and un-shattered like in many countries of the world. He accused the present government under Prime Minister Modi for sending a wrong signal to the new generations on the past history which shall not be acceptable to the historians, thinkers and nationalists in the country.

Prof.Bhim Singh said that Prime Minister Modi has tried to disgrace and insult the prominent leadership of India may they be first Indian Prime Minister Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru, first woman Prime Minister, Mrs. Indira Gandhi or Mr. Rajiv Gandhi by declaring that the commemorative stamps released in their owner shall be withdrawn. NPP Supremo asked Prime Minister Modi if he could delete the name of Jawaharlal Nehru as first India’s Prime Minister or co-author of the great movement non-alignment. He further asked Prime Minister Modi if he could remember when Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee described Mrs. Indira Gandhi as ‘Durga’ after Mrs. Gandhi won the Bangladesh liberation war. He further asked that both Mrs. Indira Gandhi and Mr. Rajiv Gandhi were assassinated brutally who had made unimaginable contributions towards India’s growth in the field of science, literature and industry.

He said Shastri ji won the war and conquered peace at the cost of his life in Tashkent in 1966 when he died after signing peace agreement with Pakistan. He appealed to the country’s intelligentsia, media persons, the parliamentarians and the historians to come forward to save the great post independence history of India.
