Panthers Party’s rich tributes to Mrs. Indira Gandhi Compares her with tallest leaders of the world

Panthers Party activists observed the martyrdom day of Mrs. Indira Gandhi in the capital today on her 30th death anniversary. Prof.Bhim Singh, Chief Patron of the Panthers Party described Mrs.Gandhi as among the tallest leaders of the world. He said she was among the greatest leaders with vision, statesmanship, courage, wisdom combined with nationalism and secular ethos. He said, in her death, India lost a great leader whereas the peace loving world lost a great missionary of world peace.

demo-13Prof.Bhim Singh said that he met Mrs.Gandhi for the first time in 1964 at Talkatora Gardens, New Delhi during a youth festival in the presence of first Prime Minister of India, Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru. Since then, Prof.Bhim Singh remained associated with that great visionary leader till her last in spite of several agreements and disagreements vis-à-vis J&K. He said that it was she who sent him as Youth Congress President in J&K in 1973 after he returned from his five years globetrotting on motorcycle on peace mission. It was she, he said, who got him Congress mandate in 1977 to contest Assembly election from Chenani (Udhampur).

Prof.Bhim Singh felt that in her death India lost a great heroic leader and world lost a great champion of peace and harmony. He said that she fell prey to the conspiracies hatched in the west against her.

Prof.Bhim Singh felt pained that the world is mourning the martyrdom of Mrs. Indira Gandhi while the BJP is celebrating its half victory in Maharashtra by crowning first BJP Chief Minister in a public celebration in Mumbai. BJP could have waited for a day. The NPP Supremo also expressed deep shock on the conduct of Prime Minister Modi by intentionally skipping the prayer meeting at Shakti Sthal to pay homage to the great leader. The President and the Vice President of the nation visited Shakti Sthal to pay homage to Mrs. Indira Gandhi whereas Prime Minister kept himself away. Shall the historians record this fact for the knowledge of the coming generations? Is it the RSS philosophy the people of the country shall ask this question from Nagpur one day?
