Wake up Call on PM, HM for urgent intervention in J&K to save State from further death, destruction

Prof.Bhim Singh, a former Legislator in J&K & Founder of J&K National Panthers Party and a strong exponent of the cause of the people in J&K for its reorganization so that the citizens of India under the Constitution of India may find a chance to live in honour, dignity and with fundamental and human rights enshrined in the Constitution of India though, Constitution of India has not been implemented in the State of J&K which also acceded to the Union of India in 1947 but it has not been merged till date. Temporary provision, Article 370, which has been operating as Wailing Wall for nearly 70 years.

The Panthers Party Supremo called on the entire nation to condemn the killing of Indian soldiers even this day (an officer and two soldiers were martyred this morning in the heart of Kupwara District in Kashmir).

Prof.Bhim Singh urged the Union Home Minister, Shri Rajnath Singh who is taking a meeting today to discuss, “What needs to be done” in J&K to save the lives of innocent people and as well as that of the Indian Army soldiers who have been fighting for the safety and security of the people of J&K since 1947. J&K was invaded from Pakistan side on 20th October, 1947 and the Indian Army reached Kashmir on 27th October, 1947 on the request of the then Maharaja Hari Singh who acceded J&K to the Union of India a day before.

Prof.Bhim Singh made a strong appeal to Shri Narendra Modi, the Prime Minister of India and the Home Minister, Shri Rajnath Singh to act in the interest of the State of J&K and its people who had volunteered to join India when Pakistan invaded J&K in 1947. Prof.Bhim Singh reminded the Prime Minister of India and the Home Minister that the mission in Kashmir today is the safety, security and peace in J&K which cannot be done by the BJP government assisting the PDP in the governance of the State which failed in totality. He urged the BJP leadership in Delhi to keep in mind the national interest which is the prime interests and not the interest of BJP ministers or party in the boiling state of J&K where security of the Indian citizens as well as the Defence Forces stands threatened.

Prof.Bhim Singh in his message conveyed heartfelt condolences to the family of Army Officer and the soldiers who were martyred today in Kupwara District while defending the national interest in the Indian State of J&K.

Prof.Bhim Singh called on the people of J&K, particularly youth and students to join hands for the safety and security of the citizens of India in J&K and also for the return of peace in the State which stands threatened because there is no governance in the State of J&K, because there is no leadership which can carry the people of the State under national flag and because there is no security to the general public and there is no governance in the State of J&K. The only way is Governor Rule without any delay.

Bhim Singh congratulates NPSU leadership for their Peace Rally on motorcycle in Jammu, city of temples

Prof.Bhim Singh, Chief Patron & Founder of National Panthers Students Union expressed heartfull congratulation to the leadership of NPSU for their unique and impressive initiative to take out a Yuvalalkar Rally on two-wheels, motorcycle across the Tawi Bridge and to the streets of Jammu City with a message of brotherhood, secularism, united efforts to ensure that youth and students in particular in J&K shall get the benefits of Fundamental Rights guaranteed in the Constitution of India which have not yet crossed over the territorial boundaries of the State of J&K thus the students and youth remained denied of all the benefits under Articles 14, 15, 19, 25 and even 32 of the Constitution of India.

Prof.Bhim Singh in his message delivered to Thakur Virender Singh, President of NPSU assured all support to the NPSU and other nationalist and secular movements in J&K to ensure full constitutional integration of J&K from Kanyakumari to Kashmir so that the people and particularly youth and students in J&K shall not face bullets, may they be pellets or rubber. He assured the NPSU leadership that he shall promote their National Integration Yatra from Jammu and Kashmir to Kanyakumari on this year on two-wheels with tri-colour flag and hope that Parliament of India shall respond by appropriate amendment in Article 370 so that J&K stands integrated with the rest of the country as was done in respect of 577 states on 26th January, 1950 when Union of India was declared under the Constitution of India. This Lalkar Rally shall carry the message of brotherhood, peace, justice, equity and equality for all the people including J&K too. Prof.Bhim Singh also congratulated the Panthers Party leadership for providing them patronage for the success of the rally.

NPP Supremo expresses solidarity with Kashmir students, advises to keep away from violence

Prof.Bhim Singh, Chief Patron of J&K National Panthers Party who has a history to lead students’ movement for nearly 30 years against the brutalities and acts of oppression and suppression against the students and the youth in the State of J&K has appealed to the students brethren in Kashmir Valley to continue their non-violent struggle with clear agenda to oppose, expose and finally depose the corrupt, outdated, unwanted and undesirable PDP-BJP government in the State of J&K which has let loose a reign of terror and oppression for the past several months in the Kashmir Valley.

Prof.Bhim Singh who represented the party in the Legislative Assembly and the Council for more than 15 years facing police oppression, jails, farce trials inside and outside the different jails of J&K expressed solidarity with the students and the teachers of J&K seeking justice, equity and a governance with the rule of law. The rule of law has been divorced from the canons of the State government for the past six months and the death and destruction is the rule of law alone in the state. He assured the students, youth and the teachers or all its support from the Lal Chowk to the Red Fort and the corridors of the Supreme Court that he shall fight for justice, equity and for basic fundamental rights which are not available in the State of J&K. He said it is a tragedy that the fundamental rights provided to every citizen of India in Chapter-III of the Constitution of India have not been guaranteed to the citizens of India residing in J&K ever since Constitution of India was promulgated on 26thJanuary, 1950. He accused that Parliament of India has not cared to extend the Chapter on Fundamental Rights to the people of J&K in 70 years and the people of J&K are governed by authoritarian rulers. Presently this is the chance of RSS dominated government in J&K. No rule of law, no fundamental rights and no principles of natural justice are available to the residents of J&K. Prof.Bhim Singh reminded the students of Kashmir that he (Bhim Singh) himself had to suffer in several prisons of J&K for nearly 81/2 years under the draconian Detention Laws as a student and even as an MLA. It was only Supreme Court which has been gracious enough to grant some relief to the suffering students and youth of J&K. He (Bhim Singh) himself was awarded of compensation of Rs.50,000/- in 1984 for his illegal detention by the Govt. of J&K when he was a sitting Panthers Party MLA.

Prof.Bhim Singh hold the Congress, the National Conference and presently BJP and PDP all guilty of suppressing the democratic voices of people of J&K under lame accuses and fraudulent charges just to suppress the democratic voices of the people of J&K. J&K includes Ladakh as well, stated Bhim Singh.

Prof.Bhim Singh urged President of India, Shri Pranab Mukherjee to invoke Article 370, though temporary, yet in operation by advising the Governor of J&K to impose Governor Rule in the State of J&K under Section 92 of the Constitution of J&K.  He hoped that President of India shall not fail in his duty. Prof.Bhim Singh also advised lady Chief Minister of J&K to be bold enough to withdraw herself and her party from the Govt. of J&K in the interest of the State of J&K and the suffering masses of the State. He hoped that Mrs. Mehbooba Mufti shall read the writings on the walls and resign her Chief Ministership in her own interest.

Panthers Party shall file damage suit against Delhi Police in Apex Court after being bulldoze from Jantar Mantar

Several political groups, NGOs, media groups condemned bulldozing of Panthers Party Office in exile at Jantar Mantar last evening where Panthers Party office in exile was razed to the ground in the full day light by Delhi Police under the direction of Prime Minister of India to wash away the existence of Panthers Party from Jantar Mantar, where Panthers Party’s Headquarters in exile were established after the Modi government bulldozed the Panthers Party office from 17, V.P. House, New Delhi in September, 2015. Prof.Bhim Singh had shifted NPP headquarters at Jantar Mantar where several other groups including ex-servicemen have been sitting on protests seeking justice from the government.

Several political groups, NGOs, lawyers organisations and youth activists at Jantar Mantar this morning at the demolished site of NPP headquarters which were established in September, 2015 after the Supreme Court of India refused to admit Panthers Party petition against its removal from Vithalbhai Patel House, New Delhi.

Nearly 100 political, social activists, lawyers, youth and student leaders gathered together and condemned the police action demolishing the Panthers Party office at Jantar Mantar in one voice demanding apology from Modi government for assaulting Prof.Bhim Singh and demolishing NPP headquarters thus damaging the interest of nationalist people of J&K in particular who had been receiving an encouraging message from Delhi that national integration needs to be strengthened from Kashmir to Kanyakumari so that justice shall be delivered to every citizen of India from Kanyakumari to Kashmir.

The prominent leaders who participated in the meeting included M/s. B.S. Billowria, Advocate Supreme Court, Rajiv Jolly Khosla, President-DPNPP, Romesh Khajuria-Vice President, Dildar Hussain Beg, General Secretary, Anil Sharma, President, Rajasthan Pradesh, Naresh Ambedkar, President, Tamilnadu, S.K. Bandopadhyay, Advocate, President, West Bengal, Babur Jamshed Khan, General Secretary-UP and others.

The council of civil liberties for the residents of J&K has decided to file a writ petition in the Supreme Court against the treacherous invasion on the civil rights of residents of J&K which is evident from the fact that Panthers Party office in exile was invaded without pre-warning or any notice. Prof.Bhim Singh informed the Members of the civil society and lawyers community that Panthers Party at Jantar Mantar was registered with the Parliament Police Station and the authorities were notified with a request that the Panthers Party may be informed if there is any approach or decision to demolish the Panthers Party Office.

Delhi Pradesh Panthers Party President Rajiv Jolly Khosla has submitted a list of Articles and valuables which have been stolen by Delhi Police or removed or damaged completely in the absence of Delhi Panthers Party leaders. He said more than 150 sitting chairs, at least 10 working tables, two refrigerators, two coolers, five trunks containing the law books and files of Prof.Bhim Singh pertaining to the public interest litigation, more than 500 Panthers Party flags, about 50 large banners and portraits were smashed by the bulldozers in the style those bulldozers were used in Turkman Gate in Emergency. The civil liberties defenders condemned this action as blatant exercise of the authoritarian attitude of the government and demanded a compensation of Rs.50 lacs for the damages caused to the properties including furniture, text-books, court files, albums, refrigerators, computers and other material including bed-cuisine and mattresses. The invading police party did not spare even the photos of the freedom struggle like Sr. Bhagat Singh, Netaji Subhash Chander Bose, Lal Lajpat Rai, Asfaqullah Khan, Rani Jhansi, Khudi Ram Bose and several others martyrs who sacrificed their lives in the freedom struggle against the British Empire.  The photographs of former Prime Ministers like Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri, Mrs. Indira Gandhi, Sr. Ballabhbhai Patel were not spared.

The committee decided in one voice to file a PIL in the Supreme Court of India against the Central Govt. for causing damages to a nationalist political party—J&K National Panthers Party and damaging political mission of National Panthers Party that India is one from Kashmir to Kanyakumari.
