NPP Supremo splashes rejoinder to Pak-premier Blasts his UN speech into Ashes

Bulldozing Pak Prime Minister Nawaz Sharief’s outburst at United Nations the other day, Prof.  Bhim Singh, Chief Patron of National Panthers Party, a post graduate in Law with distinction from London University and Sr. Advocate of the Supreme Court of India today challenged the Pak Prime Minister to join a debate on J&K anywhere, at any platform even in Pakistan on the political status of J&K to justify what he has lamented in his draconian speech he made at the floors of the General Assembly of the United Nations only the other day on the so-called ‘J&K dispute’. The Panthers Party Supremo, a recognized international authority in international law who represented Palestinian problems before several international for has challenged the Prime Minister of Pakistan on his bogus, disputed and irrelevant assertions vis-à-vis J&K.

Prof.Bhim Singh raised important points challenging the speech of Pak premier which he made before the United Nations General Assembly asking the Prime Minister to speak about the history, background and tragic episodes of 1947. Prof.Bhim Singh question Pak Prime Minister about the speech he made a day before the General Assembly of the United Nations which was totally misleading, mischievous and contrary to the history of the so-called J&K dispute.

1.                 Prof.Bhim Singh asked Prime Minister of Pakistan as to what was the dispute vis-à-vis J&K that he raised before the General Assembly. He questioned was it not Pakistan which attacked/invaded the princely state of Maharaja Hari Singh on 20thAugust, 1947?

2.                 Was it not Pakistan which aided and abetted the Pakistani soldiers and tribals to attack peace-loving state of J&K from Uri and Muzaffrabad side in 1947?

3.                 The Prime Minister of Pakistan forgot that entire Kashmiri Muslim fraternity rose like a wall and dashed the Pakistani invaders at Uri and Poonch?

4.                 The Pak-premier did not know that people of J&K led by Sheikh Mohd. Abdullah, Mohd. Afzel Beg, Sufi Mohd. Akbar and others led the civilians of J&K to defeat the invaders at Poonch and in Baramulla in 1947?

5.                 Did Nawaz Sharief know that Maharaja had signed a peace treaty with Pakistan on 16th August, 1947 which was violated by the Pakistani Army on 20thOctober, 1947?

6.                 Maharaja Hari Singh with the active support and participation of all the Kashmiri leaders acceded to the Union of India on 26th October, 1947 in response to the roaring voice of the people of J&K and acceded to the Union of India signing the Instrument of Accession on 26th October, 1947 which was accepted by the then Governor General of India, Lord Mountbatten on 27th October, 1947?

7.                 Why Nawaz Sharief should have felt shy to tell the people of the world that the United Nations in its resolution dated 13th January, 1948 had directed Pakistan to vacate all occupied territories of J&K which included entire POK (so-called Azad J&K-4600 sq. miles territory), 32,000 sq. miles of Gilgit-Baltistan as well as nearly 20,000 sq. miles of J&K territory in Ladakh region under Chinese illegal occupation?

8.                 The United Nations Resolution was violated by Pakistan which had directed Pakistan to vacate all occupied territories of J&K to clear all roads to hold plebiscite in entire J&K, 84,000 sq. miles of territory?

9.                 Pakistan in 2009 declared entire Gilgit- Baltistan (32,000 sq. miles as its territory) demolishing the very seedlings of the resolution of the United Nations which Pak-premier has been talking of a day before?

10.            It was Pakistan which demolished the UN Resolutions into pieces, violated them in 1947, 1965, 1971 and again 1999 (Kargil war)?

Prof.Bhim Singh challenged Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharief to come and join a debate/discussion on the present situation of J&K vis-à-vis UN Resolution. He said that he is prepared to join Pak Prime Minister in this debate even in Pakistan or any country the Pakistan Prime Minister would dare choose. Prof.Bhim Singh described the speech of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharief he made before the General Assembly a frustrated move as if he was arguing as a counsel of the Pakistan Army. It appeared that Nawaz Sharief was forced to make this speech under the terror of Pakistan Army which he had faced earlier in 1999 after the Kargil war.

Prof.Bhim Singh said that people of J&K are wedded to secularism in democracy. They have their local problem which have been sown by the blunders and military adventures of Pakistan in J&K.

Prof.Bhim Singh said that Nawaz Sharief bogey for so-called self determination to the people of J&K stands exposed as the people of J&K have remained wedded to the concept of mutual co-existence (secularism), love (no hate), human ethos and humanism for thousands of years.

Prof.Bhim Singh announced that the Panthers Party shall hold an open debate on the situation that prevails in the state of J&K and invite the people of J&K from all its regions including those which are under the illegal occupation of Pakistan.

Prof.Bhim Singh appealed Shri Nawaz Sharief, the Prime Minister of Pakistan to return to his original statesmanship/political streture and courage that he enjoyed before he took power as a Prime Minister after his return to Pakistan from exile.

Documentary Film on Yasir Arafat Diplomats hailed the film by Bhim Singh

A documentary film made by Prof.Bhim Singh on the life of Palestinian Hero, Yasir Arafat, was released late last evening by Palestinian Ambassador, H.E. Mr. Adnan Abu Alhaijaa in a historic function organized at India International Centre, New Delhi. The film has been made by Prof.Bhim Singh, a Barrister and a Sr. Advocate in the Supreme Court of India who travelled around the world on motorcycle for nearly five years from 1968 to 1973. He held several video interviews with Palestinian Hero, Yasir Arafat from 1973 to 2003 in India, Syria, Lebanon, Cairo, Tunisia, Gaza and finally in Ram Allah, the capital of Palestine.

Prof.Bhim Singh in his brief address to the distinguish diplomats, political leaders, parliamentarians, media persons and others made a forceful presentation in the following words,

“While travelling around the world on peace mission on two-wheels in March, 1968, I met Yasir Arafat, a young Palestinian engineer at Palestinian refugee camp on Eastern side of the Bank of Jordan river, where the Palestinians thrown out from the West Bank during 1967 war were camping.

I remained in contacts with the Palestinian leader from 1968 till 2004, till his death.

I had an opportunity to have several video and audio interviews with the Palestinian Hero at several places from time to time. I interviewed him in Damascus, Syria in 1973, Cairo, Egypt in 1976, Beirut, Lebanon in 1980, Tunisia (where he was staying in exile after his expulsion from Lebanon).

I with my team (Mrs. Nasreen Hamid, Mr. Sanjeev Sood and others) interviewed him in Gaza in 2001 and recorded his interview on his mission, ‘Free Palestine’.

I visited Palestine again in 2003 and met Yasir Arafat at Ram Allah where the ‘Palestine capital’ was functioning after its closure from Gaza. I recorded his interview again. Yasir Arafat fell ill (according to the information that we received via media) in Ram Allah and he was shifted to France for medical treatment (emergency treatment). He died in French hospital. His body was brought from France to Ram Allah via Cairo. The world leaders including representatives of India paid last homage to the great Yasir Arafat at International Airport, Cairo where leaders of different parts of the world bade him last tributes.

Body of Yasir Arafat was flown from Cairo to Ram Allah by air. I along with my camera team drove from Cairo to  Ram Allah via Jerusalem. Had to stay in Jerusalem for some hours in the night. We reached Ram Allah by the morning where Yasir Arafat was resting in that historic centre of Palestine.

I was the only foreigner present in the memorial meeting organized in Ram Allah, the next day.

This short film on the life of one of the greatest revolutionaries of the world and the only revolutionary who was honoured with Nobel Peace Prize Award is being telecasted from the heart of the Indian capital city at India International Centre, New Delhi with the active cooperation of one of my greatest friends from Rajasthan, Shri Ashok Bapna who had sponsored my trip to Syria in 1973 when I was invited by Palestinian Hero Yasir Arafat. Mr. Ashok Bapna, I remember, had sent a sword of Rajasthan as a gift to Yasir Arafat which I presented to the Palestinian Hero in 1973. His grandson Mr. Dushyant Bapna, a youthful light from Rajasthan is also present here to pay tributes to the Palestinian Hero.

This is documentary film a short presentation of interviews and interactions with Palestinian Hero, Nobel Peace Prize Laureate.  I am sure this film shall bring us at the threshold of struggle of the Palestinian people who have been rightly asking for statehood. Insa Allah this dream shall come true very soon.

India has stood with Gandhi ji’s declaration he made in 1935,

“Palestine belongs to the Palestinians as England belongs to the English and France to the French.”

Prof.Bhim Singh also expressed gratitude to Shri Ashok Bapna an old associate and friend as well as patron of Indo-Palestine Friendship Society who had sponsored this programme at India International Centre.

Several ambassadors, diplomats and political leaders spoke on the unique presentation, the film on Arafat, and admired the film which speaks of Arafat and his love for India and its people.
