‘EVM’ Magic In Kashmir Betrayed DemocracyIt is not for the first time that the Congress and National Conference has entered into an opportunistic and unholy alliance to rule the state by proxy with the only agenda to loot the State Exchequer. By fraudulent manipulation of EVMs they managed to just touch 44 out of 87 in the Assembly elections. In spite of the best gameplan to benefit BJP by a state sponsored agitation in the name of Shri Amarnath Shrine Board Land. The purpose was to damage the prospects of the rising Panthers Party. The Congress and BJP shared the booty in Jammu Province whereas the outdated National Conference managed to win maximum seats in the strive torn Kashmir Valley in the name of Azadi and what not. The Lok Sabha election was a different platform for both of them. It was a communal division of seats between the two so-called secular parties. Both the seats with Hindu majority were allocated to the Congress in Jammu Province whereas all the three seats in the Valley were put in the NC kitty. The winds were neither favour of the Congress nor that of NC in the Valley. The Election Commission of India backing the alliance prayed to the tune of ruling alliance by supporting their strategy in J&K. It was share manipulation that election to the six Lok Sabha constituencies were held in five phases. The Election Commission of India didn’t care even to acknowledge the protest letters of the Panthers Party. Elections in Udhampur and Jammu were held a month in advance in separate phases. The purpose was to allow the ruling alliance to rig the polls by all means and methods. Congress leaders in J&K with the support of the police high-ups are the masters of rigging. Manipulation of EVM is much easier than rigging the polls to ballot boxes. Nobody knows where the ballot boxes (EVMs) were kept and under whose control? The Returning Officers were chosen far more junior KAS Officers who could be manipulated easily and careful. Choosing Kathua for counting Udhampur Lok Sabha polls had neither reason nor logic. 90% EVMs used for voting didn’t carry the computer numbers. The Presiding Officer didn’t supply the polling agents the forms of the account of the polling stations. The Panthers Party has been asking to hold enquiry into the state fraud committed by the State Administartion to benefit the ruling alliance candidates. The election results have shown that EVMs were manipulated through the Presiding Officer and most of the EVMs were replaced during their one month disappearance. NC stabs Buddhists’ Pride in Ladakh Ruling Alliance BleedsNC betrayal of the Buddhists’ pride has surfaced once again on the peace loving land of Ladakh. The designs of National Conference could have been understood only by Mrs. Gandhi who kept them under a disciplinary rod in the seventies. In 1991 the National Conference played a trick with the Congress by surrendering the Lok Sabha seat. The National Conference put up an independent Muslim candidate of Kargil defeating the Buddhist Congress candidate. Once again after signing an Accord with the Congress, NC put up its former Lok Sabha Member in the election fray from Ladakh. Officially, it was declared that the Lok Sabha candidate from kargil was an independent. Those who knew National Conference and the dangerious design of NC leaders as were understood by Mrs. Gandhi should have known that the National Conference Chief Minister is not that innocent what Delhi thinks of him. They put up another Buddhist candidate from Leh to divide the Buddhists’ votes and manged to throw an elderly Namgyal out of the contest. The Congress leaders in Ladakh are not going to accept any excuse. They have demanded ‘pond of flash’ from the hearts of the National Conference leaders. That could be ouster of the Chief Minister and ban on the entry of Farooq Abdullah into the Central Cabinet. This is second time that Buddhists’ pride has been hurt by NC leaders so nakedly and brutally.Several NC leaders including a minister from Leh have threatened to resign from the Congress and joined the street battle in Leh if Delhi fails to take strong action against NC leaders at the earliest. Salt to the injuries was put on the wounds of the Congress in Ladakh when father and the son received newly elected NC MP in the Farooq Abdullah’s House with garlands and bouquets. How long the honeymoon between NC and Congress shall lost? May be matter of a couple of months.
