Prof. Bhim Singh, Supremo of the Panthers Party who left Congress in 1982 in protest against the Congress policy vis-a-vis J&Kand founded Panthers Party attracting youth to join him in the democratic battle against corrupt, criminal and communal leadership.

Twice he won election to the Legislative Assembly and lost many times his battle to enter the Lok Sabha, the highest platform for justice, struggle in the country.This time every voter irrespective of their political affiliation or ideological association had assured Bhim Singh that they wanted to send him to the Parliament. Bhim Singh is nearing 70. He believed the people and demonstrated his fire and sparks along with his star campaingers from all over the state. Many youth joined him. Bhim Singh didn’t spare any effort campaigned more aggressively than a teenager could have done by roads, on foot and in the skies. Every individual voter knew Bhim Singh, felt Bhim Singh and joined the battle by spending their own time, energy and money. Bhim Singh even dared walking into the dens of terrorists in Banihal, Doda and Gulabgarh.He was a candidate of everyone and anybody. The EVM magic displayed by the State administration with the blessings of Election Commission has put everybody in shame.
