Dismissal of J&K Govt., Urgent Governor Rule & move the Security Council against Pak firing

Prof. Bhim Singh, Chief Patron of National Panthers Party urged the President of India to dissolve J&K Govt. without any delay within the meaning and scope of Section 92 of J&K Constitution for resolving the political crises in Jammu and Kashmir and bringing an end to militancy in the State of J&K which has threatened the peace in the entire country and shaken the roots of national integration. Prof.Bhim Singh accused the present government in J&K comprising of PDP and BJP for the present situation caused in the entire State of J&K promoting the seedling of violence, hatred and tension among the peace-loving people of three regions namely, Ladakh, Kashmir and Jammu Pradesh.

Prof.Bhim Singh urged the President of India to kindly have a look at the newspaper reports sponsored by reliable new agencies this morning as the entire nation is waiting a strong decision as a President of India. He said that blaming or accusing one political party or the other shall not help the political parties to raise their ballot papers because the entire country is waiting for an urgent change in the political situation in the country and that is possible only when peace is restored in the entire State of J&K.

Prof.Bhim Singh urged the President to kindly assess the situation created by foreign guns or the guns of militants in Uri, Baramulla, Thajal, Tillawari, Churanda where people are shown by the media even to flee their homes. The Govt. spokesman in Kashmir made a statement that, “We have kept scores of vehicles ready to evacuate people from the affected area and have kept ambulances ready in case emergency arises.” The border areas in the Districts of Poonch, Rajouri, Jammu are facing the worst situation than the people in Baramulla and Anantnag. Unprovoked and indiscriminate firing in Jammu and Kashmir’s Charunda Uri Sector. As of now, no casualties or loss of property have been reported.

Prof.Bhim Singh urged President of India to force his government (Union of India) to take up the issue before the Security Council against the breakers of International Law and shattering the UN Resolutions vis-à-vis LoC and International Borders.

Governor Rule is the only way to save people of J&K from disaster

Prof.Bhim Singh, Chief Patron of National Panthers Party made strong appeal to the Parliament of India to urge the President of India to revoke Governor Rule in J&K to save its people from death and destruction because of the foreign intervention and illegal attacks on the people of J&K including against the Indian Army and security forces with an ugly design against the people of J&K as was done in 1947, 1965 & several times. NPP Supremo called on the people of J&K to stand together as they did in 1947, 1965, 1973 and again in 1999. Prof.Bhim Singh strongly appealed the President of India to advice the Governor of J&K to impose Governor Rule which is possible under Section 92 of J&K Constitution whenever the situation has gone out of the control of the security forces and peace is threatened by foreign elements.

Prof.Bhim Singh also urged the Home Minister of India to understand the situation in Jammu and Kashmir as has been briefed by the Governor of J&K to the Home Minister of India. Prof.Bhim Singh called on all the political parties in J&K to join hands in one voice that Governor Rule at present is the only way out to save the people of J&K and save the peace-loving land with its roses and flowers.

NPP Supremo urges President to invoke Governor Rule in J&K, dissolve State Govt & Assembly

Prof.Bhim Singh, Chief Patron of National Panthers Party urged the President of India to invoke Article 370, though temporary yet commanding the President of India to dissolve J&K Assembly and the government when the State Govt. fails to maintain law and order in the state and providing security to the citizens of India.

Yet happened several times when the State governments headed by well known political leaders including Sheikh Mohd. Abdullah, Bakshi Ghulam Mohd., Dr. Farooq Abdullah and others failed to defend the citizens of India and protect the lives of the innocent citizens of India in the state of J&K. Prof.Bhim Singh appealed to the Indian Parliament as a whole irrespective of their political ideologies or political association.

Prof.Bhim Singh said that the entire country stands witnessed to the past tragedies that were faced by the people of J&K during the Congress, National Conference and today that of PDP-BJP government.

Prof.Bhim Singh while addressing a Legal Aid Committee today urged the Supreme Court of India to advice the President of India to go for Governor Rule in the State that power the Governor of J&K can invoke on the advice of President of India. Prof.Bhim Singh said that it is a tragedy that Parliament of India has not been vested any authority in it to intervene for the safety and security of the permanent Indian citizens. Prof.Bhim Singh expressed surprise why the Indian Parliament has been kept away from its constitutional authority to intervene in the matters concerning the State Accession vis-à-vis Jammu and Kashmir. Prof.Bhim Singh wondered about the silence of the Indian Parliament which has not cared to promulgate the State of J&K with the rest of the country when the State Maharaja Hari Singh had signed the Instrument of Accession like other 575 States.

Prof.Bhim Singh reminded the Parliament of India to explain the reason about its silence and tell the entire country how and why two states–Hyderabad and Jungargh were declared merged with the Union of India when their rulers had not signed even the Instrument of Accession at all. He also asked the Parliament and political leadership of all the parties to explain why J&K has not been merged till date when its Maharaja had signed the Instrument of Accession on 26th October, 1947 earlier than the State of Baroda. Prof.Bhim Singh demanded that any or all FIRs filed against the officials or political workers should be withdrawn by the state without any delay. Prof.Bhim Singh reminded the tallest leader in the country about the FIRs against the Panthers Party leadership including its General Secretary Ms. Anita Thakur, Advocate H.C. Jalmeria, Vice President P.K. Ganjoo. The Supreme Court of India awarded compensation of Rs.4 lacs and the State Govt. had to pay that compensation. Yet the cases against the Panthers Party leaders are being tried in Reasi district for 11 years. He questioned sincerity and honesty of the State government.

PM Modi’s speech in Rajya Sabha on Emergency, Bofors & Choppers in bad taste

Prof.Bhim Singh, Chief Patron of National Panthers Party, Sr. Advocate & strong political critics of the ruling parties in Parliament expressed deep shock on the language that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi used during his speech in Rajya Sabha while speaking on the motion of thanks to the President’s address saying that ‘Congress Mukt Bharat’ was not coined by him but by Mahatma Gandhi. Prof.Bhim Singh expressed deep shock on the language which a Prime Minister used on the floors of the Parliament (Rajya Sabha). No doubt the opposition MPs mounted a scathing attack on the Modi government charging it with undermining democracy and trying to paint a rosy picture when the reality was totally different.

Prof.Bhim Singh a noted parliamentarian who served in the J&K Assembly for nearly 15 years as a Member in the Opposition expressed deep shock on the words which Prime Minister Modi ji used against the Congress in particular. Prof.Bhim Singh also expressed shock that a Prime Minister of India could use the undesirable words against his opponent political party say the Congress. Using undesirable and unparliamentary words against the Congress party, he said, could not be digested by anybody who has grown in India as a parliamentarian and a democrat in the country. Accusing those who are dead and no more to reply the charges levelled by a Prime Minister should not have been accused on the floors of the Parliament just for political reasons. This, he said, amounts to charging a senior leader of a party who was no more there to defend himself.

The Panthers Party Founder & a political leader who has been charging the ruling party (BJP) for years expressed shock on the words the sitting Prime Minister Modi ji used on the floors of the Parliament against the noted leaders of the country who have served the nation for decades and deserved to be honoured for their contributions to enhance the image of India.

Prof.Bhim Singh said that it was unfortunate that a sitting Prime Minister and well known personality should have used the undesirable, unacceptable words against the Congress leaders who died in the past after having served the nation, India for years. Prof.Bhim Singh appealed to the presiding officer in the Rajya Sabha to delete the undesirable and unacceptable words used against the former Prime Ministers and the national leaders by the Prime Minister or other BJP MPs.

Bhim Singh urged Parliament to act in accordance with command of Indian Constitution, save J&K

Prof.Bhim Singh, Chief Patron of National Panthers Party who is also expert on the situation in J&K has appealed the Parliament of India to act in accordance with the command of Article 370 of the Indian Constitution read with Section 92 of J&K Constitution in order to save the Indian citizens in J&K as well as the commandment of the Indian Constitution which has not been applied to the State of J&K. The NPP Supremo functioned as a Legislator in J&K for nearly 15 years (was elected twice as MLA and worked as MLC once). Prof.Bhim Singh reminded the Parliament of India that J&K acceded to the Union of India on 26th October, 1947 when its’ Maharaja, Hari Singh signed the Instrument of Accession on the will of the people who were led by Sheikh Mohd. Abdullah for several years.

Prof.Bhim Singh that it was the Constituent Assembly (India) which blundered when it introduced Article 370 in the Constitution of India against the will of the people and the Constituent Assembly kept the State of J&K away from the Accession List. J&K was never integrated with the rest of the country as was done in respect of 577 States including two states namely, Hyderabad and Junagarh whose rulers never signed the Instrument of Accession. The Constituent Assembly declared these two states as integral part of the Union of India also. It was a political blunder on the part of Constituent Assembly and the Indian leadership that J&K was never integrated. J&K has not been integrated till this date that is why no Indian Law is applicable to J&K.

Prof.Bhim Singh also accused BJP government which has betrayed its voters by not declaring the State of J&K as integral part of the Union of India during its 12/13 years’ rule at the Centre.

Prof.Bhim Singh praised the secular and brave attitude as Indian who are being accused by Delhi Govt. every day.

Prof.Bhim Singh praised the Muslim brethren of the State for their total commitment to establish a secular state in J&K and support unity of all religions. He wondered why the Modi Govt. is forcing the people of J&K to be ruled by BJP-PDP governance when PDP and BJP stand totally exposed before the people of J&K and the rest of the country. The only way, he appealed to the Parliament, is to integrate J&K with the rest of the country as the Constituent Assembly did in respect of 577 (two non-signatory states). Why Fundamental Rights in the Indian Constitution (Chapter-III) have not been extended to J&K till date. Why the youth of J&K being smashed or beaten in the rest of the country? Why the spirit of nationalism carried out by Sheikh Mohd. Abdullah is not followed by the Indian leadership? Why the people of J&K are not provided the privileges and fundamental rights which are available to every citizen of India (except J&K)? The only way out is, if J&K Govt., administration and police have collapsed to look after the law and order in the state why not Governor Rule and then the Army can be given the responsibility. That is the only way out to save J&K from further death and destruction.
