NPP declares organizing National Human Rights Year in Katra in New Year calling for universal rights for all

“Katra is the base camp for the pilgrims of world fame religious pilgrim’s destination in the foothill of Himalayas. Katra is the last destination for the pilgrims of Mata Vaishno Devi to reach there by road or train from any part of the country. The pilgrims generally walk or take a horse ride and even some privileged one can take helicopter lift from the base camp of Katra to the base camp Mata Vaishno Devi Temple at Sanjhi Chhat. This is one of the greatest respected destinations where lies the temple of Mata Vaishno Devi–called Vaishno Devi Shrine. Hundreds of thousands people visit everyday. This is the place which is directly dependent on its communication with the city of Katra which was founded by Maharaja Ranbir Singh in the 18th century.” Prof.Bhim Singh, Chief Patron of National Panthers Party made this statement while talking to the media at the foothill of Mata Vaishno Devi Cave.

Prof.Bhim Singh inaugurated a Panthers Party meeting at Katra, constituted a committee of 11 members with a mission to organize an international–interfaith, communal harmony convention at Katra on 11th of March, 2018.

Prof.Bhim Singh said that Katra shall be the world leading religious destination for the communal harmony and interfaith center of world peace.

Prof.Bhim Singh along with his team also visited Reasi the District Headquarters and reconstituted District Committee with Shri Dalip Singh as its President with a clear that the District President shall constitute the District and its Block Committees (13) within two weeks. The State Secretary Shri Balwan Singh shall be the Observer. Shri Shakti Singh Jamwal a national famed artist, a poet and a social activist who was recently appointed as Convenor of Art Club shall be Observer for Katra convention. Whereas Ms. Anita Thakur, General Secretary of JKNPP shall be Observer for the party in both Katra and Reasi conventions in March, 2018.

Prof.Bhim Singh assured that the problems of the youth shall be attended with full care and the District committees shall be reconstituted by constituting sub-committees for women, farmers, unemployed youth, trade unions and NPSU within two months.
