NPP Supremo with Panthers Party senior leaders drives through Kathua, Hiranagar, Babia, Sarthtian, Chatwal, Mawa-Rehan

Prof. Bhim Singh, Chief Patron of NPP was received at Kathua Railway Station by Party’s senior leaders. He attended a district party leaders meeting at Kathua and interacted with district leadership including Mr.Ajay Singh, District President, Mr. Rajesh Kamal and  Mr. Ram Saran Dogra, Vice-Presidents, Mr. Balbir Singh @ Happy, District President Young Panthers, Legal Aid Secretary, Miss Appu Singh Advocate, Sr. Member Working Committee and former District President  Mr. Jagdev Khajuria, 

General Secretary Ms. Anita Thakur and State President Young Panthers and Former Minister Shri Yashpal Kundal, State Secretary, Mr. Rajinder Singh Manju,  Arun Khajuria, Block President Samba were also present in the meeting.  Prof. Bhim Singh instructed the District Committee to reconstitute all the block committees and the working committee of the districtwithin four weeks so that the State President will take up the matter to reconstitute the district committee without delay.

The Panthers Party team of the leadership moved from Kathua, Hiranagar, Babia, Sarthtian, Chatwal, Mawa-Rehan.  The Panthers Party leadership interacted with the local residents of international border (between India and Pakistan) and interacted with the people, heard their sad stories how they were subjected to torcher by Pakistani bullets which continued pouring from Pakistan side for days. Prof. Bhim Singh said that the residents of the border including women and children demonstrated strong courage to resist the enemy attack. They refused the dictates of the district administration to leave their homes and cattle and the mercy of the aggressors and remained inside their houses in spite of the shells and firing from Pakistan side.  The people in one voice along the border only pressed only for shelters beyond the firing range.  Prof. Bhim Singh assured that the Panthers Party shall fight for their cause of providing five marla of land to each family along international border and LOC. Prof. Bhim Singh told the residents of the border that it was Panthers Party who had fought for providing five marlas of land to each family residing within 10 kms. of range from International Border or LoC so that every family could build a safer house beyond the firing range. He said that his proposal was signed by Mrs. Sonia Gandhi, Dr. Manmohan Singh, Mr. Mufti Mohd. Sayeed, Prof. Bhim Singh, Mr. Ghulam Nabi Azad, Mr. M.Y. Taragami.  Prof. Bhim Singh said that this agreement was signed by all political parties before forming a coalition government in 2003 under the Chief Ministership of Mufti Mohd. Sayeed. 

Prof.Bhim Singh accused Congress, PDP and the BJP for betraying the residents along international borders and LOC.  Prof. Bhim Singh said that Panthers Party shall take up this cause before the Supreme Court and assured the people that they shall be provided five marls of land for the residents purpose at the safer places.

Mr. Yashpal Kundal, Ms. Anita Thakur also interacted with the locals and assured them full support of the Panthers Party at all times. 

The Panthers Party shall continue their long march from Kathua to Poonch in the next four days till 14th October, 2016. Prof. Bhim Singh with Panthers Party leaders shall continue the long march from Jammu to Poonch from 11th to 14th October 2016.  

Prof. Bhim Singh has also called for a meeting of the leadership of J&K National Panthers Party from all districts of Jammu and Kashmir on 15th October, 2016 at Jammu to work out and action plan to ensure that peace return to Jammu and Kashmir and the people of J&K shall get benefit of fundamental rights provided in the Constitution of India which have remained denied to the people of J&K because of the wailing wall raised between the citizens of India in J&K and the citizen in the rest of the country.  That wall is article 370 which have denied fundamental rights to the citizens of India residing in J&K.  Panthers Party is committed, Bhim Singh declared, to reorganize Jammu and Kashmir so that twin states namely Kashmir Valley state and Jammu Pradesh are established.
