NPP launches ‘fund raising campaign’, Seeks public cooperation to strengthen Party

 Disseminating the achievements of the Panthers Party right from the time of inception and during the last 20 months in particular, Mr. Balwant Singh Mankotia State President JKNPP launched ‘Fund raising Campaign’ and sought public support to strengthen the party in a press conference in Jammu today.

Mr. Balwant Singh Mankotia while speaking to the media said that Panthers Party had been fighting against the regional discrimination meted out to Jammu Pradesh from the roads to the Supreme Court since more than three decades. He said that Panthers Party had played a vital role in winning several historical cases in the Apex court in favour of Jammu region. He said that JKNPP was the only regional party of Jammu region duly recognized by the Election Commission of India. He divulged that Panthers party had proven its allegiance to the people by lodging several protests in Jammu and New Delhi on various Jammu centric issues. He said that Panthers Party had a secular ideology and plethora of fire brand leaders who were capable and committed to espouse the aspirations of the people of Jammu region but remained deficient of funds. He revealed that to fill the financial vacuum, Panthers Party had launched comprehensive ‘Fund Raising Campaign’ from today.

Taking a jibe at the BJP, Mr. Mankotia said that people of Jammu Pradesh had overwhelmingly voted BJP to power but unfortunately none of the 25 BJP MLA’s could rake up the voice of Jammu region in the Assembly which had immensely dented Dogra pride and honour. He said that the Saffron party had cowardly surrendered all the Jammu related issues before the Kashmiri leaders for the loaves of power. He made a fervent appeal to all sects of the society including businessmen, traders, youth, employees, labour unions, etc to support and strengthen Panthers party. He sought financial assistance (Donations) from the public at large so that Panthers continued its crusade against discrimination, injustice and socio-political disparity doled out to Jammu Pradesh.  He said that JKNPP shall be organizing ‘Fund raising booth’ outside the Party headquarters 30-B Gandhi Nagar  on 7th October from 11 a.m onwards. He urged upon the public at large to contribute whole heartedly at the booth to make the campaign a big success.
