Anarchy rule in Jammu Pradesh JKNPP survey reveals the tragic tale

NPP Supremo with his team travelled in most of the areas of Jammu Pradesh namely Districts of Rajouri, Poonch, Ramban, Doda, Kishtwar and Udhampur from 9th to 17th March, 2016. Prof. Bhim Singh expressed deep shock on the situation prevailing throughout Jammu Pradesh.  He said that;

I.       There is no ration available in the rural areas for the past 3/4 months. Government has stocked supplying ration from government depots.  Ration is available Rs. 25 per kg (rice) and Rs. 22 per kg (Atta).  50% people in rural areas are literally starving.

II.       There are no teaching staff in the schools. Almost all schools

          are short of teachers upto 50%.

III.      There are no doctors available in village dispensaries.  There are no medical assistance even. There are no medicines available. It is chaotic situation in the villages.

IV.    There is shortage of drinking water and the water that is used by the villagers is not worth drinking. There is danger that epidemic may spread in the rural areas.

V.       There is no power supply in the villages.  Electricity is shot for 4/5 minutes a day only to warn the people that there is shortage of electricity for those who are the real stones of political power in democracy.

VI.      Most of the roads have been washed off. A survey reveals that the roads were built by the contractors who were sponsored by the politicians. They built roads in violation of the rules and parameters.  Regular accidents on these roads established the fact that the roads were built in violation of the rules and contract conditions.

 VII.    This is placed on record with full responsibility that there is total anarchy in the rural areas and the people in the villages are living a life of Jungle with no social security, no medical assistance and no rule of the administration to provide social security, medical care or protection to the wretched of the earth living in the villages, the real seedlings of democracy.

Prof. Bhim Singh said that there is no governance in the state and it is essential to dissolve the Assembly and hold fresh elections so that the people could elect the government of their choice by shutting out the communal, anti-national and corrupt forces who befooled the voters in the previous elections.

Prof. Bhim Singh declared that the Panthers Party shall be celebrating 34th Foundation Anniversary of JKNPP in Jammu.  He accused the administration for refusing the party to hold the celebration at Parade Ground Jammu.

a).         Jammu and Kashmir shall be reorganized so as to establish;

          (i)      the state of Jammu Pradesh.

(ii)     State of Kashmir Valley at the earliest.

(iii)    Ladakh region shall be free to join either of the states or opt for attachment as Union Territory.

(iv)     Both the states namely, Jammu Pradesh and Kashmir Valley state shall remain a confederation so that the subjects in the state list shall be under the control of each state with separate Chief Ministers yet one Governor and one High Court.

Prof. Bhim Singh declared that he shall not contest any election to the State Assembly or to the Parliament from Jammu and Kashmir.  He also expressed hope that the Panthers Party shall coordinate with all the nationalist, secular and progressive groups and individuals to ensure that J&K is reorganized without breaking the state.
