Two (twin) states is the only solution Let’s waste no time fighting in bits & pieces

Prof.Bhim Singh, Founder & Chief Patron of National Panthers Party has given straight call to the people of Jammu Pradesh and the Valley, particularly the youth which has been the principal victim at the hands of ruling barons from both sides of the state. He called on the new generation to study the history how rulers smashed the people of the state like pigeons and use them as guinea-pigs to please their masters from outside the state. He said that most of us have given all our lives fighting for one cause after the other and finally disappearing like morning fog under the smokes and dust fumed by the misdeeds and tyranys of the rulers planted by their masters by killing the soul of democracy in the state. He said time has come when all of us join hands to get rid of these tyrants responsible for our miseries, pains, injustice and discrimination.

The NPP Supremo said that in 1982 he left the Congress as well as membership of the Assembly and formed Panthers Party with the blessings of the leaders like Shri Ghulam Nabi Goni, Father William, Dr. Thakur Das and others with a mission to work as a bridge of peace between the people of Jammu Pradesh and the Valley. The Panthers Party succeeded in building movement in the state, continued its battle without fear for the cause of the peple and for the justice to every one.

Prof.Bhim Singh said that he has completed 56 years in battle fighting against one Prime Minister of J&K to another, then one Chief Minister to another, facing jails, tortures, illegal trials, state abuses. We wasted, he said, several years in fighting to remove discrimination with the POK migrant students, several years in jails while fighting for a Ayurvedic College in Jammu, lost many valuable lives of young students in Jammu for the establishment of a separate university. We lost youthful students in Kishtwar just to get a college for the students. Similarly, we lost precious lives in Poonch where the unemployed youth wanted to get justice and equity. The children of the ministers, political leaders and the bureaucrats flourished at the cost of the entire people of the state. The leaders in the state were sold out for petty wine shops, contracts, ration dealership and some for petty posts in the government departments. Everything is on record. Whenever the youth, students and the civil society launched a movement in 1953, 1959, 1961, 1966, 1971, 1976, 1984 even in 1999 or 2002 or just 2015, the leaders surrendered before their masters, the goals and missions were sold publicly for petty gains.

‘AIIMS’ in Jammu was the latest tragedy in the history of Jammu Pradesh. A straight betrayal by the ruling parties. The people of Jammu irrespective of their political affiliations, the entire civil society, all trade unions, youth, students and anybody including the lawyers fraternity came on the road. They demonstrated their strength by observing, may be the longest bandh in Jammu Pradesh. Again deception and betrayal by the ruling clique. Now the movement is diverted from AIIMS to smart city.

i).      What happened to the delimitation of Assembly constituencies?

ii).     What happened to the equitable number of seats for Jammu Pradesh?

iii).    Shall the reserved seat in Jammu Pradesh continue for half a century with no geographical readjustment of the seats?

iv).    What happened to 15 lac refugees from POK and Pak who have been rotting on the streets for over six decades? Where are they who promised moon and gained power?

v).     What happened to the development of the tourist places in Poonch, Rajouri, Reasi, Ramban, Kishtwar, Bhaderwah, Doda, Bani, Basohli, Udhampur etc.?

vi).    For how long the people of Jammu shall be treated as slaves? How many generations shall be sacrificed by the history to bring the people of Jammu Pradesh to their dignified identity?

Where is the identity and entity of the great Dogras, Paharies and other members of the Jammu fraternity? What is the status of the ex-servicemen who have been treated like slaves by the ruling parties?

Prof.Bhim Singh has called on the new generations to join hands with the Panthers Party movement so that there is equity, equality, end of discrimination and no more blood, no more bullets. The people right to vote should not be robbed or cheated as it has been done for six decades. Delhi shall not decide out future, the people of the state shall decide.

Prof.Bhim Singh said that Panthers Party is the movement by the people, for the people and of the people so that there shall be no more guns, no more violence, no more hatred. All of us should unite, particularly the youth should unite so that unnatural and heterogeneous union created by the Treaty of Amritsar does not keep our identity under shadow. Kashmir Valley as well as Jammu Pradesh must emerge as twin states. Reorganization is possible and that shall be the only way to end our continuous miseries and sufferings from the petty and imposed rulers.
