NPP condemned attack on BSF in Samroli/Udhampur Calls for unity and communal harmony

Prof.Bhim Singh, Supremo of National Panthers Party condemned attack on BSF jawans on National Highway, 13 kms. from Udhampur District Headquarters which has remained peaceful all along. This has remained a constituency of Panthers Party for nearly 15 years and a strong hold of the Panthers Party. Prof.Bhim Singh said that he has information that this attack was targeted against the pilgrims going to Amarnath darshan also. He accused the State government for its utter failure to keep a watch on the situation and the movements of the undesirable and armed infiltrators. Most of the militants have crossed over the international border in Jammu District and also LoC with a sole mission to destabilize India.

He said that entire National Highway should be handed over to the Army in J&K and the present state government should be dismissed, Assembly dissolved and Governor Rule imposed in the state. He said an ex-uniformed Governor cannot handle the situation as the civil society needs to be involved with the national mainstream. He strongly opposed the idea of imposing a Governor in J&K from old police or army rank as this experiment did not succeed in the past.

Prof.Bhim Singh, who is Member of National Integration Council has also urged Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi to hold an emergency meeting of National Integration Council to develop a consensus to work out a national strategy to eliminate all kinds of terrorism in the country which is abetted, sponsored, aided and financed from across the borders.
