He accused the State government for not enforcing Minimum Wages Act in 60 years and converting the casual labours as the prisoners of war. He demanded immediate regularization of 60,000 casual labours in the state, 28, 000 SPOs, also regularization on permanent basis of contractual employees, SPOs, temporary teachers, SSB & NYC volunteers without delay. He declared that a workers and youth movement shall be launched from August 1, 2015 in case the workers, youth, employees are not given their due share. He also declared that 2015 shall be observed as ‘justice for youth year’ and invited all youth, students and workers from all walks of life to join the new movement for youth to save them from exploitation, injustice and discrimination by the state.

He demanded that there should be AC compartments with Express Trains without delay. On the other hand, 110 kms. long flood shattered road needs nearly six hours to cover this distance. It takes only one hour in 40 minutes in the train just with Rs.20 but no heating system, no wash room at all even a toilet not satisfactory sitting arrangement, its cabins function as horse-shed.

Prof.Bhim Singh was received by hundreds of Panthers Party workers led by its Ramban District President, Mr. Sewa Singh Bali at Banihal this evening. Prof.Bhim Singh shall be Chief Guest at May Day Rally at Ramban on 1st May, 2015. He was accompanied by Chairman-PTU, Masood Andrabi, Kashmir Provincial President, Farooq Ahmed Dar and others.

Bhim Singh urged SC to ‘save this temple of justice’ from NJAC as wisdom lies in daring

Prof.Bhim Singh, Sr. Advocate and petitioner-in-person while arguing his petition before the Constitution Bench this afternoon argued vehemently to quash National Judicial Appointments Commission Act as well as 99th Constitutional Amendment in the Indian Constitution to save independence of judiciary in the interest of democracy and rule of law.

He told the 5-judge Constitutional Bench headed by Mr. Justice Mr. Justie Jagdish Singh Khehar and comprising JJ Mr. Justice J. Chelameswar, Mr. Justice Kurian Joseph & Mr. Justice Adarsh Kumar Goel that the independence of judiciary has been threatened by a draconian Act called NJAC in the process of appointment of judges to the High Court and to the Supreme Court. In his brief arguments Prof.Bhim Singh submitted,

“That I, myself was protected and has survived by the mandate of Article 21 of the Constitution of India when this (Supreme Court) even find Rs.50,000 to ask the Govt. of J&K to pay compensation against his illegal arrest and wrongful confinement. The State (the power that be) would like to scuttle the independence of the judiciary which is evidence that the latest NJAC has been empowered to veto the decision of the three-sitting judges of the Supreme Court including the Chief Justice of India by a veto of two ordinary members. He further said that the appointment of two eminent persons is a fraud on Constitution as one of the members has to be from the reserved category which is unknown in the history of judicial appointments. He said that the veto power vested in two members can defeat the entire process of appointing Judges to the higher judiciary including that of Chief Justice of India, Chief Justices of the High Courts as well as Judges of the Apex Court and the High Courts. This is totally unnatural, undemocratic and unacceptable in democracy. He submitted the day people shall loose faith in the judiciary, the democracy will be under a threat and there is a serious threat to the integrity, unity and sovereignty of the nation.

Prof. Bhim Singh appreciated the bold and positive decision of the Chief Justice of India to opt out of the selection committee of the three persons floated by the Government to select two eminent persons. He said this is a mockery that eminent persons have not been defined and they could be Amitabh Bachchan or Ambani or Adani or even Lata Mangeskar as they are among the foremost eminent persons. Shall these eminent persons nominate the next Chief Justice of India, the judges of the Apex Court and the Chief Justice of the High Court. This is an attempt, he submitted, to demolish the independence of judiciary in the country to please the corporate houses as well as money and muscle power.

He urged the Constitution Bench to act boldly and fairly as wisdom lies in daring, to save this (judiciary) from the assault of draconian commission NJAC.

BJP stand exposed on AIIMS in Jammu NPP urge Governor to dismiss State Govt.

Prof.Bhim Singh, Chief Patron of National Panthers Party said that the statement made by the State Minister at PMO, New Delhi advocating AIIMS in Jammu Pradesh is real bluff only a repetition of what Union Finance Minister, Mr. Arun Jaitley had said in Jammu. He said how Prime Minister, Modi shall allow J&K BJP leaders to act one way surviving his government in Delhi and allow the BJP ministers surviving Mufti Sahib in different directions all together. This, he said, shows the kind of government which PDP and BJP is running in J&K. He said Mufti Sahib has his constituency in Kashmir and he has to take all unpleasant decisions to promote his party’s interest in Kashmir Valley, is constituency.

Prof.Bhim Singh said that Mr. Modi is a powerful Prime Minister and he should discipline BJP leaders from J&K what to speak and what to do. He suggested to open two AIIMS as was done in case of Central Universities.

NPP Supremo said that Sheikh Mohd. Abdullah was right to put up separate provincial directorates in almost all the departments. The permanent solution to avoid regional conflict and remove regional discrimination with the people of Ladakh and the people of Jammu is reorganization of J&K by establishing the state of Jammu Pahari Pradesh as well as that of Kashmir Valley which can be done by urgent amendment in Article 370 to remove all anomalies to keep people of J&K in peace, respect and dignity.

To save the state from total anarchy, the Governor should dismiss the present government and impose Governor rule so that free and fair elections could be held without manipulation of EVMs as it happened in the last election.

He said it was Panthers Party which has been fighting for the just rights of the youth and students may it be in Poonch, Kishtwar or Jammu for the past 50 years. It was Panthers Party which got the full salaries back to the government employees in 1982, again in 2011 from the Supreme Court and again it is preparing to get justice to the new recruits while fighting from the streets to the Supreme Court.
