He paid high tributes to President Tito of Yugoslavia, President Nasser of Egypt and Prime Minister Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru of India for laying the foundation of peaceful co-existence right in the same Sava Centar where the present conference was held. Prof.Bhim Singh earned cheers from the participants when he started his address, “I have come from the land of peace and human dignity, from the land of Buddha, Gandhi and Nehru, from the land of composite culture where all human beings live in human dignity and equality, where law is same for everybody irrespective of their religions, faiths, regions or political schools of thought.”

Prof.Bhim Singh in his speech questioned the so-called command of the US in the name of New World Order which intended to demolish Arab pride, rob Arabs of their oils or prosperity. He also questioned the justification of NATO aggression against Iraq, Yugoslavia, Libya and other areas of the world. He said the World War took place 100 years back but the imperial aggression launched by Anglo-American Bloc continues even today causing death and destruction to the great civilization in different parts of the globe. He condemned the brutal attack by US-sponsored Israel against the innocent people of Palestine in Gaza, continues attack against the Syrian people and continues defiance by Israel of UN Resolutions vis-à-vis Palestine.

Prof.Bhim Singh strongly advocated for peace and equality, for complete disarmament and non-interference by one country against the other. He also condemned NATO aggressions which he said were infringement of the Articles laid in the NATO constitution itself. He appealed the conference organizers to include an appeal to the leaders of the world from Belgrade Declaration that, “There shall be no more bullets, no more blood, no more killings, no more bombs and no more wars so that humanity lives forever and ever with honour and dignity.”
