Fight the demons, defeat the evil forces Message from Sudhmahadev in 2014

There were only some pick pocketers, some chai-masala and a broken ‘Dhola”. old Shiva temple, cool breeze in June when I visited this area in 1977 as a newly elected MLA from this area. It was a gorgeous destination, centuries old Shiva Temple, a half dozen Shops and a middle School with tattered tots. I decided to take up destination with a mission to introduce the message of Sudhmahadev to the people outside my constituency. 15 day First camp in 1977 itself was organized with the cooperation of state NSUI. Several students and youth leaders attended the National integration camp, some of them turned Chief Ministers, MPs MLAs and even Ministers . A new concept was evolved that Total Revolution was neither practical nor scientific. My proposition on Ultimate ( samul) Revolution received tremendous response from the universities and youth groups. Even Mrs India Gandhi shot a letter of appreciation. 21 point programme was launched from Sudhamahadev. Mrs Indira Gandhi sent written message appreciating the programme.

Sudhamahav became centre of aspiration and the Concept of Mela was broadly converted into a continuous movement of National integration. It is almost 37 years after when I missed the camp but I felt equally happy and contended that the new generation carried the lamp for the next day by holding the camp in Sudhamahdev .We have more than one MLA today and I am sure that they will be able carry on the message and take to the new generation for peaceful coexistence of all constituents in our society by respecting its beauty, grace and inevitability for the harmonious growth of nations. The message of Sudhmahadev is clear and significant today that commands that all human beings are creation of one God and they are born free with no evil born in them. Who are the demons ? Those who try or attempt to divide the society by exploiting them in the name of religions, castes just to gain their petty benefits just to promote their petty interest. The message from Sudhmahadev that I had gathered was truthfulness, justice to all and humanity is the greatest religion on earth. I had experienced this learning during my world tour from 1967 to 1973.

I am sure that the new generation shall carry this message form Sudhmahadev when they go back to their destinations. Let us all fight demons and defeat the evil forces that tend to divide the human race in the name of Caste, religion or races in any discipline of our society. That is they way to grow India as the world peace master

Why Jammu MPs were silent in Lok Sabha When Mehbooba was asking SAARC status for Kashmir

“Several intellectuals, political activists and members of the civil society are raising serious concern about the silence maintained by two Jammu Lok Sabha members in the House when Mrs. Mehbooba Mufti a Kashmiri MP was shouting at the top of her voice advocating for SAARC status for Kashmir and demanding that Parliament should hold special session to resolve the so-called K-issue, Prof.Bhim Singh, Supremo of the National Panthers Party and Member of National Integration Council while commenting on the Mehbooba’s way to promote Hurriyat agenda inside Lok Sabha accused the recently elected Lok Sabha Members from Jammu to keep silence rather submitting to the Kashmiri Members demand. What happened to the Jammu MPs and why they did not or could not raise the voice of Jammu refugees, migrants, youth who have been worst sufferers of the so-called Kashmiriyat which has been exploited by the Kashmiri political leadership just to gain power at the cost of peace and normalcy.

Prof.Bhim Singh said that presidential address too had ignored the plight of 15 lacs Jammu migrants from POK and nearly 20000 from hill areas of Jammu. The presidential address failed to mention the deteriorating condition of the permanent residents of the state in Gilgit and Baltistan which has since been annexed by Pakistan as its fifth province.

Prof.Bhim Singh said that what happened in Lok Sabha yesterday should work as a wake up call for the nationalist and secular society in Jammu Pradesh. ‘Kashmir’ cannot be compared with SAARC as Jammu Kashmir is and shall be integral part of India. This fact is supported by Section 3 of the Constitution of J&K. Let us be contended by saying, “Hello, Jammu MPs”.

Rejoinder to Modi Govt. on Presidential address, was Mahatma Gandhi Pravasi Bhartiya

“Describing Mahatma Gandhi, the Father of Nation as ‘Pravasi Bhartiya’ and depicting his image as Pravasi Bhartiya in the Presidential Address on 9th June, 2014 was in a bad taste. It did not go with the dignity of the Father of Nation”, stated Prof.Bhim Singh, Supremo of the National Panthers Party and Member of National Integration Council.

NPP leader said that there was no concept of ‘NRI’ in 1915 when Shri Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi, a Barrister returned to his motherland. India was under British Rule and every Indian had to carry a British passport. The concept of NRI was introduced after 1947. The NRI was differentiated from the residents of India for the purpose of Income Tax which has been elaborated in Section 6 of the Income Tax Act. He said Mahatma Gandhi was never a Pravasi Bhartiya nor he took over any job in foreign country. He was a Barrister-at-Law and could practice in any of the British governed country. Prof.Bhim Singh expressed surprise how an elite and visionary President of India signed this address which suffers from many anomalies and short falls.

Prof.Bhim Singh felt that Modi government has been exposed by its silence on the fate of Article 370 of the Constitution of India which has lasted for 65 years though it was only a temporary provision.

Prof.Bhim Singh said that the BJP had made commitment on the eve of Lok Sabha elections to the Ladakhies that BJP shall grant ‘Union Territory’ status to Ladakh. Why the Presidential address is silent on the issue? Can the Parliament grant any such status to Ladakh when the Parliament of India has no power or competence to legislate on any matter vis-à-vis J&K?

NPP on President’s address to Parliament, word ‘secular’ missing

Prof.Bhim Singh, Supremo of the National Panthers Party, Member of National Integration Council and a parliamentarian expressed surprise on missing of word, ‘secularism’ in the address of Shri Pranab Mukherjee, the President of India. The Presidential Address that President read out to the Members of the Parliament read, “They have voted for a united, strong and modern India—‘Ek Bharat-Shreshtha Bharat’. My government will work to fulfill these aspirations; with the involvement of all the 125 crore people of this great country.” The NPP Supremo said that people of India have voted for a united, strong, secular and modern India. There were only 66.4% of the voters who participated in the election. The BJP got only 31% of the votes.

The fact is 837500000 have voted in the Parliamentary election in 2014. The BJP secured only 170000000 (17 crores). This certainly would not be concluded as if the majority of the people have voted for non-secular India.

The Presidential address is welcome that his government shall “ensure that Kashmiri Pandits return to the land of their ancestors with full dignity, security and assured livelihood.” It is regrettable that the plight and rehabilitation of Jammu (Talwara Migrants) has been deleted from the President’s address though Mrs. Sushma Swaraj as a leader of the M.Ps’ delegation to Jammu had herself expressed concern on the plight of Jammu migrants who have not been provided relief in cash and kind in spite of the judgment of the Supreme Court of India in July 2006. The President’s address has shown more interest to work for Digital India and provide Wi-Fi zones completely ignoring the plight of educated youth including technocrats and their livelihood and work. The President address has emphasized on the increase of the judges in the Subordinate and Higher Courts completely ignoring the fact that the criminal laws under which the courts’ functions were enacted in the 18th century by the British rulers. Britain have overhauled those systems whereas India remains where it was. The President’s address had ignored the fact that there are thousands of vacancies for the posts of judges which need to be filled on priority.

The sad part of the Presidential address is the retention of FDI even in defence sector least realizing that it will endanger the security of the country.

The Presidential address has promised heavens in all fields even in removing poverty by next 10 years which speaks volumes about the latent intention and the commitment of the government of India to take up plans and projects immediately. 10 years would mean, the people have to wait till next election is over.

The President’s address, intentionally or unintentionally has omitted the mentioning of Nawaz Sharief, the Prime Minister of Pakistan who accepted the local challenges and threat and made it to attend the ‘coronation’ ceremony of the Prime Minister of India. The Presidential address has mentioned the presence of the Prime Minister of Mauritius but forgot to mention the presence of Shri Nawaz Sharief. Besides, the Presidential address has mentioned India’s relations with USA, Europe, Russian Federation but the names of Pakistan, Sri Lanka or even Arab world, Palestine are missing from his address. The Arab world including Iran have been very intimate and useful friends of India since centuries.

Prof.Bhim Singh said that he is not in the Parliament and therefore he cannot interact with the parliamentarians, intellectuals, academicians and other notables of the country. Whatever a little he could express that is stated in this reaction.

It is time for Kashmiri leadership to read writings on wall as Kashmiries can no longer be taken for granted

Prof.Bhim Singh, Founder of J&K National Panthers Party and Member of National Integration Council who returned after 10-day visit to Pakistan the other day expressed surprise on the statements of some senior leaders of Kashmir Valley sounding as if they were beating the drums in the fifties least realizing that the entire combination and permutation of the international relations have undergone a sea-changed in 50 years. How does it matter whether somebody calls it ‘POK’ of ‘POJK’ when the truth clearly demonstrates the existing facts? 4600 sq. miles of the State’s Territory has been taken over by Pakistan and established a government called ‘AJK’ (Azad Jammu and Kashmir), the Kashmiri leadership which has been demanding implementation of UN Resolution has yet to understand that the ‘AJK’ has an Assembly and a Council. The Council is chaired by the Prime Minister of Pakistan. And the legislative powers are exercised by the so-called Legislative Council called ‘AJK’. Every member of the Legislative Assembly and the Council have to take an oath of allegiance to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. A temporary Constitution was introduced in 1974 which has not been made permanent till date. None can visit POK without the permission of Pak authority. Do the honourable leaders of Kashmir know that entire Gilgit-Baltistan comprising of 32000 sq. miles has been annexed by Pakistan as its fifth province. First of all let them bring round Pakistan to tag Gilgit-Baltistan with their ‘Azad Kashmir’. The people of Kashmir are highly intelligent and visionary. They know the truth. They also know that LoC cannot be trashed by either side.

Prof.Bhim Singh hoped that the Kashmir leadership shall understand the writings on the walls of history and work for an amicable and peaceful resolution of the problem. This cannot be resolved by Modi or by Nawaz Sharief.

The NPP Supremo also expressed surprise on the statement of some leaders from the Valley hailing Atalji’s initiative vis-à-vis J&K problem least caring to spell it out or to spell out the differentiation between POK and POJK. Six members of Parliament have entered the Parliament. They shall be enjoying all kind of privileges, bonus and benefits from the Govt. of India for being members of the Parliament. Can any Member of the Parliament from J&K can explain to his/her voter what power they enjoy to legislate in respect of their voters they represent? Can any MP from J&K introduce any bill in the Parliament relating to any issue pertaining to J&K?

Prof.Bhim Singh counselled the leaders of the Valley to come out of the web and speak out the truth to their people about the status that is enjoyed in J&K. The special status the State is because of the Royal Decree issued by Maharaja Hari Singh in 1927 introducing a permanent concept of ‘State Subject’. The special status of J&K has nothing to do with Article 370. Article 370 has been used by the Kashmiri leaders to exploit the sentiments of the innocent Kashmiries. On the other hand the Jan Sangh now converted into BJP has been exploiting the people of Jammu in the name of Article 370. The truth is otherwise.
