Bhim Singh offers solidarity with Greater Kuch Bihar activists sitting on protest dharna at Jantar Mantar

Prof. Bhim Singh, Chief Patron of National Panthers Party was felicitated by the organizers of Greater Kuch Bihar Association holding three-day protest dharna at Jantar Mantar seeking Union Territory’s status for Greater Kuch Bihar. Prof. Bhim Singh was honoured by a Kuch Bihar Turban and bouquets.
Addressing a mammoth dharna by the natives of Kuch Bihar, Prof. Bhim Singh said that reorganization of Assam is as essential as it is the reorganization of J&K. Prof. Bhim Singh said that both Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru & Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel had promised the natives of Kuch Bihar that their identity and history shall be kept intact. He expressed support and solidarity with the people of Kuch Bihar in their demands for a Union Territory Status to the people of Kuch Bihar, recognition of their mother tongue ‘Rajvanshi Bhasha’ and resurrection of Narayani Regiment which was created for the recruitment of the people of Kuch Bihar.
Hundreds of protestors raised slogans to welcome Prof. Bhim Singh as Sher-e-Jammu and Kashmir and champion of human rights.
The General Secretary Shri Bangshi Badan Barman while welcoming Prof. Bhim Singh described him as a great champion of the human rights and particularly that of the people of North-East region. He hoped that with the presence of Prof. Bhim Singh in the dharna, the voice of their people shall reach the corridors of the Parliament.
Other people who also addressed the gathering included M/s. Rajiv Jolly Khosla, Delhi Pradesh Panthers President, Ms. Sunita Chaudhary, Nalini Barman, Rajiv Rai, Viplab, Virendru Das, Girija Shankuru Rai & others.

Prof. Bhim Singh again as Sr. Executive Member of SCBA

  Hundreds of advocates of the Supreme Court and High Courts welcomed the victory of Prof. Brim Singh as a Sr. Executive Member of the Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA). Prof. Bhim Singh was elected with impressive majority for the second time.
Prof. Bhim Singh expressed thanks to the members of SCBA for their support and solidarity with the mission he (Bhim Singh) has been carrying to seek justice for every person deprived and denied his fundamental rights by the power that be.
Prof. Bhim said that the lawyers’ fraternity needs to be treated respectfully with dignity as officers in any court which is essential to hold the dignity and integrity of the judicial system in the country. He said that he shall devote his time that lawyers are treated with respect and dignity inside and outside the court.
