Bhim Singh shall tour Jammu Border areas with NPP leaders from Nov. 5 to 9

Prof. Bhim Singh, Founder-Chief Patron of JKNPP has constituted Border Defence Committee for the protection of civil rights of the residents residing along International Border and LOC in Jammu Pradesh (Hiranagar to Poonch).  Shri Yashpal Kundal, MLA shall be President of the Border Defence Committee with Shri Faqir Nath Ex-MLA as Convenor. Shri Ashok Randawa is the Member-Secretary.
The other Members of the committee include M/s. R.S. Manju, Ashok Kumar, Jiya Lal Verma, Rajesh Pargotra, Khajur Singh, Pritam Singh, S. Hari Singh, Pritam Sharma, Shanker Singh Chib, Ashok Kumar, Capt. Ratan Singh, Sub. Bishan Dass, Kuldeep Sharma (Poonch), Tariq Khan (Mendhar), Mrs.Nirmala Sharma, Sikander Singh (Pargwal), Mohan Singh,  Yashpal Manhas,  Suram Chand (Rajouri).
The Defence Committee has announced tour programme of Prof. Bhim Singh, Shri Harsh Dev Singh, Shri Balwant Singh Mankotia and other Panthers Party leaders who shall tour the border areas from Palanwala (Akhnoor) to Hiranagar (Kathua) International Border from 5th November to 9th November, 2013. A meeting of the Border Defence Committee was held under the presidentship of Shri Yashpal Kundal, its President which announced that it was Prof. Bhim Singh in 2000 who had filed several writ petitions in the Supreme Court for the security and rehabilitation of the Border Migrants in Jammu Pradesh. It was because of the Panthers Party’s writ petitions that the Supreme Court of India had directed the Govt. of India to send special teams to find out urgent wages and means to provide financial help to the border migrants. He said that it was because of the Panthers Party that thousands of uprooted migrants were rehabilitated who had suffered heavy losses because of shelling from across the LoC and International Border during the Kargil War.
Shri Faqir Nath, Convenor of the Committee had also played very important role during the Kargil War for the rehabilitation of border migrants.
The Border Defence Committee shall organize meetings of the NPP leadership in Palanwala, Jeurian, Akhnoor, Pargwal on 5th November. The committee shall organize meetings in Marh, R.S. Pura and Suchetgarh Bloc on 6th November, 2013. Prof. Bhim Singh in his team shall be visiting the border areas in R.S. Pura, Bishnah and Samba area on 7th & 8th of November, 2013. The team shall visit Hiranagar border areas on 9th November, 2013 to study the situation and ensure that the people in the border areas feel satisfied and are prepared to face any eventuality caused due to shelling from across the border.
The Defence Committee accused National Conference and Congress leadership for the misery of the residents of the border areas as they betrayed the agreement (CMP) signed by Mrs. Sonia Gandhi, Dr. Manmohan Singh and other senior leaders of the NC and PDP with Prof. Bhim Singh in 2002. The NC and Congress government has betrayed the people of the border areas as they refused to implement the agreement with Prof. Bhim Singh to provide 10 marlas of land to each family at the safe zone on a reasonable distance from the international border or LOC whatever might be the situation.

In a message, on the eve of the Diwali, to the countrymen particularly the youth and the students, Prof. Bhim Singh Founder and Chief Patron of National Panthers Party has expressed hope that the youth and the students shall pledge today to fight out all evil forces spreading darkness all over the globe so that the light shall prevail over darkness and the humanity shall live in peace, dignity and enjoy freedom and liberty bestowed by God on all human beings irrespective of their religions, regions or nationalities.
