Panthers Party urges Governor to dismiss Omar Govt. to save J&K from disaster

An emergency meeting of the Secretariat of JKNPP was held at Panthers Party Hqrs. this afternoon under the chairmanship of Shri Harsh Dev Singh, MLA & Chairman of NPP. Others who participated include Shri Balwant Singh Mankotia, MLA, President, Shri Yashpaul Kundal, MLA, General Secretary, Shri Faqir Nath, Ex-MLA, Provincial President, Ms. Anita Thakur, H.C. Jalmeria Adv. (General Secretaries) and others.
Prof. Bhim Singh, the Chief Patron of NPP was also present in the meeting.
NPP denounced the anti-youth policy by reducing the salaries of the fresh recruitments which is less than the daily wagers of an unskilled labour. The NPP said that this Ordinance issued by the State government amounts to contempt of the Court as a similar government order passed in 1981 by Sheikh Mohd. Abdullah government was quashed by the High Court in 1982. The party also decided to move a petition in the Supreme Court forthwith against the discriminatory and anti-youth ordinance by the authoritarian government being manned on the crutches of the Congress.
The Panthers Party also decided to file a fresh petition for the delimitation of the Assembly constituencies after 2011 census.
