NPP Supremo addresses emergency meeting of Panthers Kashmir Council

Prof. Bhim Singh, Chief Patron of National Panthers Party and Member of National Integration Council while addressing the Panthers Kashmir Council comprising all the district presidents, block presidents, state and provincial office bearers cautioned against the nefarious designs of the NC-Congress alliance to create divide among the people of Kashmir Valley and Jammu province on the eve of Assembly and Lok Sabha elections. He called on the youth and the students in the Valley to defeat the ugly designs of the ruling coalition who intend to create communal divide in the state as they did on the eve of last Assembly elections. Prof. Bhim Singh was received at the Airport by entire Council and taken in procession to Panthers Party Headquarters at Raj Bagh, Srinagar, Kashmir.
The important Panthers Party leaders who attended the emergency meeting included Mr. Farooq Ahmed Dar, Provincial President, Kashmir, Mr. Masood Andrabi, Vice President-JKNPP, Mr. Manjoor Naik, State General Secretary-JKNPP, Mr. Mehboob Illahi and Mr. Maqbool Malik, State Secretaries, the District Presidents from all eight districts of the Valley.
Prof. Bhim Singh also appointed Syed Muzaffar as Convenor of Kashmir Unit of NPSU (National Panthers Students Union). A committee of 9-member executive of NPSU was also appointed by Prof. Bhim Singh in his capacity as the Chief Patron of the NPSU.
Several prominent political activists from Kashmir Valley were admitted into the Panthers Party by Provincial President, Farooq Ahmed Dar in the presence of Prof. Bhim Singh. Prominent among them was Mohd. Maqbool Malla of Sonawari along with his 10 supporters of his Democratic Front.
Mohd. Iqbal Jan, President, Distt. Bandipora was given rousing reception on his honourable acquittal by the High Court of Delhi in a false case. He was given life sentence by a Delhi Court. Prof. Bhim Singh has argued his case successfully. He was garlanded and sweets were distributed by the Panthers Party on his honourable acquittal.
Prof. Bhim Singh accused State government for denying security cover to the Panthers Party leaders only because the Panthers Party speaks for the youth and the students of J&K. Prof. Bhim Singh said that the old and outdated slogans of autonomy or self-rule or 370 have no relevance to the present situation. He argued strongly for the agenda of the Panthers Party to reorganize J&K by assuring justice and equity to all the three regions of the state. He said the Reorganization is the only way out for the resolution of all the problems of J&K.
