NPP Supremo calls farmers to get ready for Mahabharata

Addressing thousands of farmers, their families, teachers, employees and members of the civil society drawn from different fields of life today at Mongari in Reasi District of J&K, NPP Supremo, Prof. Bhim Singh appealed the farmers to get ready for the Mahabharata in 21st century to restore the moral and social values in life which is possible only after the Samool Kranti (Ultimate Revolution).
Thousands of farmers, their families and rural folk drawn from different areas had gathered to participate in the historic three-day mela (Congregation) at Mongari about 100 kms. from Udhampur situated on the foothill of Mata Vaishno Devi.
Several prominent social activists, legislators, serving personnels from the Department of Revenue, Social Welfare, Police also participated. The local Tehsildar and Superintendent of Police were among those who welcomed Prof. Bhim Singh as a unique person who hails from these hilly villages. The BJP MLA (Reasi), Mr. Baldev Raj Sharma made a startling disclosure that Prof. Bhim Singh has been his model in politics. Panthers Party MLC Syed Mohd. Rafiq Shah described Prof. Bhim Singh as the Yasir Arafat of India. Mr. M.R. Bhamagi, a lecturer and General Secretary of Panthers Trade Union welcomed Prof. Bhim Singh as among the greatest revolutionaries in the world.
Prof. Bhim Singh declared that Bhamag shall be a separate Assembly Constituency with Tehsil & Block status very soon. He also condemned Congress-NC coalition for dividing the most picturesque spot in the entire state of J&K. He said that Congress-NC bifurcated this Block into three Assembly constituencies only to destroy its history and its beauty.
Prof. Bhim Singh paid tributes to the great personalities like Late Mrs. Nirmala Devi, MLA, first Director General of Police, Mr. Laxman Das Thakur who hailed from this Bhamag area. He also mentioned ex-MLA, Mr. Bansi Lal Kostani, who has made enormous contribution for the development of the region.
